Removing Swirls and Scratches To Get The Most Shine From Your Paint Do you remember when it use to shine when it got out of the dealership? Have you seen your paint under the sun and saw cobweb scratching or scratches? These are called swirl marks and those are the scratches that ruins your vehicle from sparkling. Behind The Scenes Of Paint Correction: 1. Thoroughly clean wheels, tires, and fenders. 2. Thoroughly Wash Vehicle- Two Bucket Method, stripping wash which removes any protection on the paint to have bare paint to correct. 3. Chemical Decontamination- Iron Remover to remove iron particles. 4. Using Clay bar on your paint to remove those stubborn bonded contaminates to make the paint super smooth and prep it for polishing. 5. The compound and Microfiber Cutting pad: Cuts swirls and oxidation fast, scratches and dull paint, removing 1500 sanding marks. 6. Polishing: This is the last step to remove any more swirl marks, buffer halos, and mild imperfections from the clear coat bring that high gloss. 7. Prep the surfaces with an isopropyl alcohol based solution to remove residue to contaminants while we were polishing. 8. Add a layer of protection that could be a wax or sealant or even with a Ceramic Coating which is highly durable than any wax or sealant helping you protect your paint and still keep that high gloss. 9. Clean exterior and interior glass. 10. Tire dressing to make the tires shine. This process can take up to 7 to 18 hours to complete just depending the desire look, size and condition of the vehicle.
